Liver cancer therapy company Sirtex Medical has sold its radioembolization product SIR-Spheres to the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires in Argentina.
Sirtex recently received regulatory approval for its SIR-Spheres microspheres from the National Administration of Drugs, Food, and Medical Technology (ANMAT).
The company anticipates expanding the availability of SIR-Spheres in additional centers in Argentina.
