Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems has won an installation of its TrueBeam linear accelerator at a Michigan hospital, the company said.
DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital of Commerce, MI, has installed the image-guided radiotherapy system to target lung, breast, prostate, and head and neck tumors. Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital's TrueBeam is the first in its county, and is one of only four in southeast Michigan, according to Varian.
