Gulmay Medical of Camberley, U.K., is changing its name to Xstrahl, effective immediately.
The company designs and manufactures superficial and orthovoltage radiation therapy systems. Its small-animal radiation research platform (SARRP) system is designed to deliver an image-guided microirradiation (IGMI) technique for preclinical and radiation biology research.
The change will consolidate the company's broad portfolio, enabling radiation therapy and research and the commercialization of SARRP.
