Canadian isotope supplier MDS Nordion has received regulatory go-aheads from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Health Canada agency for its Monte Carlo electron-radiotherapy treatment-calculation technique. The company will be using the dose-calculation algorithms in its Oncentra treatment-planning software.
