Impac Medical Systems has renewed its decade-long business relationship with Siemens Medical Solutions to develop and install oncology management systems. Mountain View, CA-based Impac plans to release version 6 of its software this spring. The company said the upgrade will deliver faster, more streamlined intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) for patients treated on Siemens’ Primus and digital Mevatron linear accelerators.
