The American College of Radiology's (ACR) Center for Research and Innovation (CRI) will manage the new Alzheimer's Network for Treatment and Diagnostics (ALZ-NET), which will collect data on patients being treated for Alzheimer's disease.
ACR CRI will serve as the operations center as announced on August 1 at the Alzheimer's Association International Conference 2022. ACR CRI will provide guidance, education, and best practices in imaging care for patients with dementia and Alzheimer's. Imaging plays a crucial role in diagnosing and monitoring patients with dementia and Alzheimer's.
Clinical dementia care sites will participate in ALZ-NET. Imaging facilities will report to treating physicians.
