Cancer Centers of Florida adds mobile PET

Cancer Centers of Florida, an independent oncology practice, has added mobile PET capabilities, the Orlando, FL-based group reported.

The practice is using a mobile PET system from GE Healthcare of Waukesha, WI, at its Ocoee, FL, location and plans to use the system at its other practice sites.

The PET system is made possible through the cancer center's partnership with cancer treatment firm US Oncology of Houston, the group said.
