Radiology components supplier Varex Imaging and Canon Medical Systems have renewed their three-year pricing deal for CT tubes and heat exchangers.
Varex Imaging supplies the components for Canon Medical Systems' CT scanners, which are marketed worldwide. The company also supplies digital detectors and high-voltage connectors to Canon through other agreements.
Varex Imaging estimated that this extended contract could be worth approximately $385 million over the next three years through 2022.
