Atlantic Health has become an official distributor in the U.S. of radiation dose tracking software from Scannerside.
The software tracks patients' and radiology providers' radiation doses from CT scans and angiography procedures. Patients receive printout dose cards that describe the radiation dose, and the software enables providers to track the cumulative doses patients receive.
The deal adds another level of quality control for patients at the radiology practices that are Atlantic Health's customers, the company said.
