Siemens reaches Definition Flash milestone

Siemens Healthcare recently completed the 50th U.S. installation and 100th U.S. sale of its Somatom Definition Flash dual-source CT system.

The 50th installation occurred at the University of Minnesota Amplatz Children's Hospital in Minneapolis, which opened last month and offers a 24/7 pediatric-only emergency department and a children's dialysis center.

The 100th sale of a Somatom Definition Flash scanner was to University of Utah Health Care in Salt Lake City.
