Contrast and virtual colonoscopy developer E-Z-EM of Lake Success, NY, this week released preliminary financial results for the company's 2007 fiscal year.
For the year, E-Z-EM said it expects to post annual revenues of about $137.8 million, which would be down slightly compared with the $138.4 million recorded in fiscal 2006. The company said that the 2007 numbers differs by about $3.2 million from its previously stated guidance due to the postponed recognition of revenues resulting from approximately $3.5 million in sales of RSDL skin decontaminants to the Department of Defense during the fourth quarter. Revenue from the sale will be recorded in E-Z-EM's 2008 fiscal year.
The company said it expects to post earnings of 77¢ per share, exceeding its previously stated guidance of 66¢ per share. E-Z-EM will release its full financial results on August 15.
