Contrast agent and virtual colonoscopy developer E-Z-EM said that E-Z-EM Canada, its wholly owned subsidiary, has concluded contract negotiations with Local 7625 of the United Steel Workers of America, representing 100 employees at its Montreal production facility.
E-Z-EM Canada produces all of the firm's liquid barium contrast products, and is scheduled to be the sole production facility for powdered barium contrast products, according to the Lake Success, NY-based vendor.
The renewed contract became effective on December 19, 2004, and runs until December 18, 2010, E-Z-EM said.
