Three-dimensional-software developer Voxar has released the latest iteration, 2.3, of its CT colonography software, Voxar Colonscreen.
This release has better integration with PACS, with the capability for DICOM reporting. The software is optimized for radiologists to visualize supine and prone CT DICOM datasets simultaneously in 2-D and 3-D modes, and automatically generates reports that are compatible with Microsoft Windows and PACS, according to the Framingham, MA-based firm.
In addition, new automated tasks for completed reports, improved pathology coding, and enhanced image quality and faster loading of image data are part of version 2.3, said Voxar.
