Medrad has introduced Stellant, a CT contrast fluid injection system. Stellant features include saline flush, pressure monitor graph, improved syringe design, and syringe auto load, according to the Indianola, PA-based vendor.
Users can also upgrade from single to dual injection. The ability to deliver contrast fluid under multiple CT protocols is important for multi-detector CT scanners and for new procedures related to trauma, angiography, and cardiology exams, Medrad said.
