Contrast manufacturer Bracco has opened up a new facility in the Italian region of Piedmont.
The site, at the BioIndustry Park Canavese in Colleretto Giacosa near Turin, includes labs for exploratory research of new medical imaging procedures, as well as two pilot plants for the industrialization of contrast media production processes.
Bracco said the opening of the new facility is part of its plan to establish a network of R&D facilities throughout Italy. The company currently has operations in Milan, Trieste, and Naples.
