Contrast agent provider E-Z-EM announced fiscal 2001 first-quarter net sales of $27.3 million, up slightly from the $27.2 million posted in the fiscal 2000 first quarter. For the period (end-September 2), the Westbury, NY-based firm had net earnings of $1.8 million, compared with $1.8 million in the same period last year.
