Surgi-Vision gets clearance for coil

Miniaturized MRI coil developer Surgi-Vision has received Food and Drug Administration 510(k) clearance for Stylet, an internal esophageal coil that can be used to image conditions related to the esophagus and aorta from inside the body. In September, the Columbia, MD-based firm received clearance for its first internal MRI coil, called the Endoesophageal Magnetic Resonance Imaging Coil.
