The American College of Radiology (ACR) Foundation has received a $6 million gift from the estate of Christopher G. Ullrich, MD, and his wife, Betsy C. Ullrich, to support public policy research, data analysis, and regulatory policy efforts across the ACR.
Ullrich was a prominent figure in radiology health policy and economics who received the college's highest honor, the ACR Gold Medal, posthumously in 2022, and the ACR William T. Thorwarth Jr. Award in 2016. He served on the ACR Council Steering Committee and as chair of the ACR Economics Payer Relations, State Government Relations, and Utilization Management Committees, ACR noted.
