Strategic Radiology taps Proval as marketing director

Radiology consortium Strategic Radiology has hired publishing veteran Cheryl Proval to head up the company's activities in marketing and communications.

Proval has 18 years of experience in radiology publishing. She was the founding editor of Radiology Business Journal and was vice president of publishing for ImagingBiz, a radiology content provider. She was also publisher and editor of Imaging Economics magazine.

Strategic Radiology is a consortium of 25 radiology group practices across the U.S. that represents more than 1,400 radiologists. The company's goal is higher-quality patient care and more cost-efficient delivery of medical imaging services through an integrated approach that involves sharing data and best practices, interchanging clinical expertise, and consolidating practice expenses across groups.
