Broadlane launches procurement service program

Group purchasing organization Broadlane of Dallas has launched a new service program, capital procurement services, the company said.

The service can help healthcare facilities save 5% to 10% on equipment purchases, according to Broadlane. The program includes verification of client-defined capital approvals; ongoing tracking of actual versus budgeted funds; enforcement of the client's technology standards; order administration, management, and reporting; and participation in "live" group buys, Broadlane said.
