Civie has launched RadPod, an Uber-like radiology platform for radiologists interested in on-demand work.
CEO Dhruv Chopra said RadPod allows radiologists to read medical scans "at will and on their terms." The platform has already been deployed to eight Illinois hospitals, Civie noted in its announcement.
RadPod integrates advanced AI tools not to replace radiologists, but to optimize workflow and scale service delivery, Civie said. Designed for hospitals, outpatient imaging centers, and physician offices, the platform offers both onsite and remote coverage across all specialties, according to the vendor.
