CurveBeam, MedShape to collaborate on clinical study

Conebeam CT technology developer CurveBeam and MedShape plan to collaborate on a clinical study that will evaluate the performance of MedShape's orthopedic dynamic compression device using CurveBeam's weight-bearing CT (WBCT).

The study will be conducted at the Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Center in Dublin, OH, and it will evaluate MedShape's DynaNail TTC Fusion system used with CurveBeam's LineUp WBCT system. Patients will be followed up with CT exams at five postoperative intervals over 12 months, according to the two firms.
