Film and PACS vendor Agfa HealthCare has launched a new high-speed x-ray film called Agfa CP-GU.
CP-GU is designed for universal applications and keeps image quality at a consistently high level, even when the film is processed in weaker chemicals or less favorable conditions, Agfa said. It is designed for markets that have to cope with inconsistency in chemicals and where film-developing conditions are challenging.
The new film also gives users control over contrast. By adapting the processing temperature, users can achieve a higher or lower gradient, allowing them to adjust the contrast of their images, according to the Mortsel, Belgium-based company.
