3TP girds for patent battle

MRI computer-aided detection developer 3TP Imaging Sciences of White Plains, NY, has retained counsel to determine a course of action in response to what it believes is infringement on patents it has exclusively licensed from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel.

The firm said that it believes that there is a high likelihood of patent infringement by one or more companies in the breast MRI imaging business.
