Medrad opens US probe service center

Contrast injector technology firm Medrad of Warrendale, PA, has opened a new facility in Denver to repair 3D/4D ultrasound transducers.

The facility will enable the company to offer service for more technically complex 3D/4D probes under its TotalRepair program, which provides for guaranteed repair of medical products. TotalRepair enables healthcare facilities to spend less on device exchanges and replacements, the company said.

The facility is owned and operated by Westco.
