Ultrasonix shows triple-digit sales increase

Canadian ultrasound vendor Ultrasonix Medical of Burnaby, British Columbia, said that its Sonix line of ultrasound systems saw triple-digit sales growth in 2006, compared with the previous year.

The firm also reported an increase in 2006 sales of 250% over the same period in 2005. The company sold more than 750 Sonix Series units in 2006, compared with 300 sales recorded in 2005.
