Misonix posts Q1 sales uptick

Ultrasound technology developer Misonix reported an increase in sales revenue and a decrease in net losses for its fiscal 2007 first quarter (end-September 30).

For the period, the Farmingdale, NY-based company posted revenues of $9.6 million, a 6% increase compared with revenues of $9.1 million for the same period in fiscal 2006.

The firm recorded a net loss for the first quarter of fiscal 2007 of $542,000, a significant decrease compared with a net loss of $1.3 million for the first quarter of 2006.
