EDAP to push European marketing efforts

EDAP TMS of Lyon, France, has secured approximately $6.5 million to accelerate marketing efforts of its Ablatherm-HIFU in Europe.

EDAP manufactures high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) for the treatment of prostate cancer. The company plans to target both physicians and patients over the next 30 months in its marketing effort.
