Boston Scientific debuts IVUS unit

Interventional technology firm Boston Scientific has launched its iLab intravascular ultrasound system in the U.S.

The unit, which can be directly installed into a cardiac catheterization lab or a radiology suite, features a tableside controller to give control of the device within the sterile field as well as a Dynamic Review image interpretation tool, according to the Natick, MA-based firm.
