SonoSite, Siemens join forces

Handheld-ultrasound provider SonoSite and multimodality vendor Siemens Medical Solutions have formed a strategic alliance for German distribution.

Under the terms of the deal, Siemens of Erlangen, Germany, will market and distribute the Bothell, WA-based firm's MicroMaxx and Titan systems in Germany's general imaging and point-of-care hospital markets.
