Misonix takes controlling stake in U.K. distributor

Ultrasound technology developer Misonix has purchased a controlling interest in its U.K. distributor, UK-HIFU.

Misonix made the move as part of its commitment to expanding its high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) operations in Europe, according to the Farmingdale, NY-based firm. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
