Bristol-Myers Squibb Medical Imaging reported that Premier Purchasing Partners, a group-purchasing organization based in Oak Brook, IL, has awarded the firm a three-year sole-source contract for its Definity echocardiography contrast agent.
Under the terms of the agreement, North Billerica, MA-based Bristol-Myers Squibb will offer Definity to Premier's 1,500 hospital facilities and other affiliated healthcare sites throughout the U.S. The agreement is in effect through December 31, 2007.
