Double Black launches color LCDs

Monitor distributor Double Black Imaging of Westminster, CO, has launched two new color LCD monitors in its M-Series line.

The new monitors come in 2- and 3-megapixel configurations and include retractable front sensors for autocalibration. The color LCDs join other monitors in the Double Black M-Series line, which include 2 MP, 3 MP, and 5 MP monochrome LCDs.

M-Series monitors feature an electronic front sensor that emerges from the bezel then retracts when DICOM grayscale calibration is complete, eliminating any permanent protrusion into the active area of the LCD. All Double Black LCDs also have integrated backlight sensors that ensure backlight consistency and minimize fluctuations in brightness caused by internal and environmental temperatures, according to the company.
