Philips Medical Systems has appointed Brent Shafer as its executive vice president and chief executive officer (CEO), sales and service region for North America, reporting directly to Jouko Karvinen, Philips Medical Systems' worldwide president and CEO.
Most recently, Shafer was vice president and general manager of the patient environment division at Hill-Rom, a Batesville, IN-based patient care firm.
