McQuade leaves Kodak

Kodak Health Imaging president Michael McQuade is leaving the Rochester, NY-based firm to become vice president of 3M's newly formed medical division. To replace McQuade, Kodak has named Candy Obourn as COO of the Health Imaging unit, effective immediately.

Obourn, who will manage Health Imaging's daily operations, is a senior vice president at Kodak and formerly served as president of Kodak's document imaging business. A search for a new president at Health Imaging is underway, according to the vendor.

By rejoining 3M, McQuade will be returning to his roots. He worked at 3M for 14 years, and also served two years at Imation’s medical imaging business. The division, a 3M spinoff, was acquired by Kodak in 1998.

3M's new medical division will combine the St. Paul, MN-based vendor's skin health and medical-surgical business units.
