iCAD debuts new MRI software

Computer-aided detection (CAD) firm iCAD of Nashua, NH, has launched an MRI software suite for analyzing images of the breast, prostate, and other organs.

The suite is designed to bring together the company's SpectraLook and VividLook applications with its new OmniLook and VersaVue Enterprise for enhanced quantitative image analysis for cancer detection, staging, localization, treatment planning, and serial monitoring.

The suite's features include integrated 3D/4D displays, colorized displays on any underlying MR sequence, and enhanced creation of customized hanging protocols and 2D and 3D maximum intensity projection (MIP) and multiplanar reformatted (MPR) images from any image in the viewport.
