Barco awarded German PACS display contract

Image display and advanced visualization firm Barco of Kortrijk, Belgium, has received a PACS display order from NĂĽrnberg Hospital South in NĂĽrnberg, Germany.

Under an agreement with German PACS provider MedicalCommunications, Barco will provide the facility with dedicated color and grayscale display systems, along with software technology for online quality assurance and asset management.

With 2,170 beds in two locations, NĂĽrnberg Hospital and its 40 radiologists perform 241,000 radiology examinations on average annually.
