Medipattern licenses B-CAD rights in southwest

Computer-aided detection (CAD) software firm Medipattern of Toronto has given distribution rights for its B-CAD ultrasound CAD product for the southwestern U.S. to distribution firm MammoSolutions of Houston.

The agreement reflects Medipattern's new strategy of creating its own sales channel to end users, according to the company. The company said it plans to announce other similar relationships in the future.
