Biodex Medical Systems of Shirley, NY, plans to introduce completely redesigned versions of its Ultra Pro and Echo Pro tables, as well as Sound Pro, which combines the imaging features of the Ultra Pro and Echo Pro tables.

2005 11 08 15 29 11 706 The Sound Pro combination table for ultrasound and echocardiography applications targets imaging facilities with limited space or budgets, offering a 30-inch width and 500-lb weight capacity. The table's height range of 23 to 39 inches can also accommodate bariatric applications.

All table adjustments are possible through either a hand or foot controller and allow scanning from a seated or standing position. A cushioned swing-out section of the tabletop gives sonographers open access to the patient's thoracic area. Patient amenities include cushioned arm supports and a 2-inch-thick mattress.
