This course is intended to teach the basics of the 1st trimester limited scan and the 3rd trimester evaluation. Day 1 includes didactic lecture. Day 2 consists of a hands-on lab with patients at different stages of pregnancy. Includes transvaginal scanning.

Ultrasound-guided core biopsy and lumpectomy revealed a 0.9-cm grade 2 invasive ductal carcinoma, an estrogen receptor–negative, progesterone receptor–negative, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2–negative lesion, with two sentinel nodes negative (N0).
