Radiation protection -- is it in your job description? This course will offer the radiologic technologist the many reasons why radiation safety is important in the workplace. Course topics will include sources of ionizing radiation and its interactions with matter. The program is designed to provide information on quality control testing which aids in the provision of good radiation safety, requirements for radiation barriers, and how radiation is measured.
