Marconi Medical Systems has named Richard Brownhill to the newly created position of vice president, operations. Brownhill will be responsible for manufacturing, procurement, total quality and facilities on a global basis. He comes to Marconi from a post as vice president and general manager of APW Electronics, a San Jose, CA-based manufacturer of components for the semiconductor and telecommunications industries.
In other management moves, the Cleveland-based Marconi has promoted John Srsen to vice president of finance for its Picker Health Care Products division. Srsen, who formerly served as controller for Picker HCP, will assume responsibility for all divisional financial functions and business information.
