Kodak taps CTO

Eastman Kodak Health Imaging has appointed Michael Jackman as chief technology officer, effective February 3. Jackman will lead the firm's global research and development operation, with a strategic focus on delivering new technology, products, and services, Kodak said.

His responsibilities will include managing intellectual property and technology investments to leverage Kodak's existing and emerging technology, according to the Rochester, NY-based vendor. Prior to joining Kodak, Jackman was founder and CEO of a consulting firm specializing in technology development and strategy for companies in the wireless, IP telephony, security, and software infrastructure markets. He also spent 18 years at IBM, holding several senior management positions, Kodak said.
