
Fujifilm Medical Systems USA and breast imaging software developer Volpara Solutions are expanding an existing partnership in an effort to help mammography facilities and physicians improve image quality, workflow, and breast density assessment.
The partnership will give Fujifilm customers who are using the company's Aspire Cristalle digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) system access to Volpara's breast health platform, which includes Volpara Live and Volpara Enterprise.
Volpara Live reduces patient recalls caused by poor image quality by giving mammographers instant feedback on mammography positioning and compression, while Volpara Enterprise analyzes mammography and tomosynthesis image quality, the two firms said.
