Disposable products developer Merit Medical Systems posted revenue increases in its second quarter of 2019.

For the period (end-June 30), revenue increased to $255.5 million, rising 13.7% from $224.8 million in 2018. Net income decreased, however, to $6.9 million from $10.9 million in 2018.

For the six-month period, revenue increased to $493.9 million, rising 15.4% from $427.8 million in 2018. Net income was $13.1 million, compared with $16.2 million for the same period last year.

Size was 0.2 cm; tumor grade II/III; negative lymph nodes; and estrogen receptor–positive, progesterone receptor–positive, and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2–negative.

A normal mammogram confirmed by three-year radiologic follow-up illustrates reader-marked regions of interest (ROIs) during (A) unaided (round 1) and (B) artificial intelligence (AI)–assisted (round 2) reading.
