Volpara partners with Mammography Educators on training

Breast imaging software developer Volpara Solutions has partnered with education provider Mammography Educators to produce mammography positioning training videos.

The partnership with Mammography Educators will embed training modules in the recently released VolparaEnterprise 2.0 software. These training videos will provide multiple levels of radiographer training when positioning performance issues are identified using the software, according to Volpara.

Volpara said it will highlight VolparaEnterprise 2.0 and its entire quantitative breast imaging software suite at next month's AHRA meeting in Anaheim, CA.

Size was 0.2 cm; tumor grade II/III; negative lymph nodes; and estrogen receptor–positive, progesterone receptor–positive, and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2–negative.

A normal mammogram confirmed by three-year radiologic follow-up illustrates reader-marked regions of interest (ROIs) during (A) unaided (round 1) and (B) artificial intelligence (AI)–assisted (round 2) reading. Each colored dot represents an ROI for recall by a human reader. Readers could mark more than one ROI per case, represented by multiple dots of the same color.
