German clinic orders Sectra MicroDose

The Karlstal Radiology Clinic in Kiel, Germany, will install Sectra's MicroDose Mammography full-field digital mammography system early next year.

The clinic expects the system will help it meet a new project implemented by the German state of Schleswig-Holstein designed to ensure quality mammography services, according to Sectra.

MicroDose Mammography is currently in clinical trials in the U.S. and is not yet FDA-cleared.
