SAN ANTONIO - Eastman Kodak Health Group unveiled new software features yesterday for its DirectView mammography workstation at the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA) annual conference.
The 5-megapixel multimonitor workstation boasts new software features including the display of markers from digital computer-aided detection (CAD) systems; support for mixed color and grayscale displays so that ultrasound images can be viewed in color, while images from other modalities such as full-field digital mammography (FFDM), CR, or MRI images are viewed on a grayscale monitor; and the capability for radiologists to zoom into areas of an image using a cursor command, according to the Rochester, NY-based firm.
Kodak said the DirectView mammography workstation has been enabled to integrate with other PACS applications as well as the company's DirectView PACS System 5.
