Women's imaging vendor Hologic reported increased revenue for its first quarter of 2025, posting $1.02 billion, a boost of 0.9% from last year's $1.01 billion.
The company's diagnostics segment revenue increased 5.1%, from $447.8 million in 2024 to $470.6 million. However, revenue in its breast health segment decreased by 2.3%, to $369.1 million compared with $377.7 million during the same period last year, which Hologic attributed to lower mammography equipment sales.
In other news for the quarter, the company completed its sale of Gynesonics and repurchased 6.8 million of its own shares, raising $517 million.
