Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite of Bothell, WA, has added ob/gyn calculation and measurement capabilities to its Titan ultrasound scanner. The company announced the new features at this week's meeting of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) in Philadelphia.
The new capabilities enable ob/gyn physicians to provide a complete ob exam in the clinic, according to the company. The new features begin shipping this week, and Titan customers in the field can upgrade their scanners via a CompactFlash card.
